The solution was to to create an immersive, storytelling brand experience that showcased their UK portfolio while providing a seamless transition to their 18+ venues own platforms. Packed with bios and extensive video content the new site takes users and potential new partners on a digital journey through the diverse world of Glendola Leisure.
The final website is minimal in design but rich in storytelling and interactivity. Glendola Leisure are well known for the sheer variety of their businesses under their control and the challenge was to bring these varied brands under one Glendola moniker.
The venue portfolio features a flexible grid system were pre-defined rows can be used to build a grid that fits all needs. We have selected a contemporary typefaces that allow for distinct layout variations and subtle size contrasts. The final website was brought to life by adding a huge variety of images and video to help support each venues bio pages.
In order to properly convey Glendola Leisures expansive portfolio, we shot a number of short form web exclusive teasers for each of their venues across the UK. These films were scripted and shot with optimisation for web in mind and designed to show off each venues beauty spots in dramatic fashion.
The desktop version of the site was only our starting point and was expertly adapted to provide a delightful experience across mobile devices.
Built to be easy on the eyes the mobile site allows users to fully enjoy the site’s features by serving device specific video content combined with custom mobile only functionality resulting in a flawless mobile experience for Glendola’s current stakeholders and potential future partners.
